Our fiftieth year starts soon

brighton-jimmy-pageFor those of we haven’t yet met face to face welcome to the 50th year of BroadOak  in our roles of Chair and Vice chair of this great club.

We have spent the last year learning how everything works and what a great group of volunteers we have to make this all happen. We have been amazed the amount of organisation and behind the scenes activity that is required throughout the season, tournaments and the presentation evening.

Our challenge which we have accepted is to continue to take the club forward and improve the profile, facilities and communication and bring everyone together as one big Broadoak & Horam JFC family.

In our first season we have invested in brand new goals for our older age groups, set up an online club shop and started to bring girls back to our club. We will continue to build on these achievements next season. It is you the parents stepping up as managers, committee members and volunteers that make the club and we are always looking to utilise your skills from making cakes, building goals, admin, linesmen the list goes on. So please come and speak to us, many hands make light work.

In 2019 our club will celebrate its 50th birthday and there is much to celebrate. Let’s make next season our best ever.
